The site underneath www.energyrating.gov.au is the number 2 in this search. The other sites are sponsored links where they have paid to be placed there. My clients site is there because Google regards this as the most relevant and highly ranked site for this search term. Refer to search engine optimisation.

Pay per click search engine marketting can be expensive. Sought after keywords have dramatically increased in recent times in the big search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN. Anything from $ .20 to $ 5.00 or more can be paid by web site owners per click.

Click fraud is always an issue not necessarily by search engines but from sites that may trick you into clicking on a link or from competitors who may unscrupulously click your paid links.
